Unpacking Values and Bias
Care to Change the World
A Path to Self-Awareness: Values and biases shape our decisions, interactions, and perceptions. This program guides members through the process of identifying and understanding their own values and biases, fostering greater self-awareness and empathy.
Informed by Research: Building on insights from UACE and AU2063, the program examines how historical, cultural, and societal influences contribute to unconscious biases. Participants are encouraged to reflect on these factors and their impact on their work.
Interactive Learning: Workshops and exercises help participants explore their values in a safe and supportive environment. These sessions encourage honest dialogue and provide tools for challenging assumptions and broadening perspectives.
Practical Applications: The program equips members with strategies to mitigate bias in decision-making, policy development, and interpersonal interactions. These skills are essential for fostering inclusive and equitable environments.
Driving Cultural Change: Unpacking values and biases isn’t just about personal growth—it’s about creating ripple effects. By addressing biases at an individual level, members contribute to building more equitable organizations and societies.
